To echo other reviews, the views are amazing. The home is in a very quiet neighborhood and just a few minutes from downtown Conway, which was perfect for us. The house itself is very spacious with comfortable beds, making it great for a larger group. The kitchen was well equipped and met all of our needs.
A couple of things to note for future guests: the bunk room off the kitchen has barn doors with gaps, so there isn’t much of a noise barrier. The home also shows some wear and tear, the dining room table was missing a chair, some patched walls, peeling paint in one bathroom, and a scuffed kitchen wall. None of these were deal breakers, but worth mentioning.
The house was clean overall, and the backyard space was nice. The grill door, however, was unattached and leaning against the grill. Since it was winter, we didn’t use the outdoor amenities much aside from the hot tub, which we enjoyed.
My biggest disappointment was Vacasa’s response and follow-up. We checked in on a Tuesday and noticed the backyard lights weren’t working. I called it in, then realized it was a GFI outlet that just needed to be reset, so I canceled the request. Later, we discovered partial power loss in the finished basement. I called again Wednesday morning, Wednesday afternoon, and Thursday morning. Each time I was told the local property management team had been contacted and the ticket was open, but there was no follow-up. Someone finally came out Thursday evening and found a tripped breaker. This situation could have been handled much better with clearer communication and faster resolution.
Overall, the home itself is lovely and comfortable with a great location and views, but the property management experience took away from what could have been an excellent stay.
